The plan is to take a scenic drive east along the Lake Ontario shoreline. We’ll take Lake Rd (NY18) east, through Pultneyville, Sodus Point, Wolcott and Red Creek. We will then stop at Fairhaven State Park and park in a scenic spot for picnic lunch. Bring along your own picnic lunch and lawn chair. We can observe safe social distancing while we are still near enough to enjoy each other’s company. Please note that there is a $8 per car entry charge at Fairhaven. On the return trip, we’ll cut down to Orbachers on Rt. 104 for an ice cream and then head home. Should be about a 100 mile or so round trip. WHEN: Sunday AUGUST 16, 2020 TIME: Meet for departure at 11am WHERE: Depart from Webster Park, lot on the northeast corner of Lake Rd. and Holt Rd. BRING: A picnic lunch, lawn chairs, $8 entry fee for Fairhaven State Park A Z car is not required, drive whatever you’d feel comfortable with.
